I recently had the pleasure of staying at Dhanlaxmi Homestay in Shimla, and I must say, it exceeded all my expectations. the delicious homemade Indian cuisine, especially the parathas and dinner, made me feel like I was dining at a relative's home. The attention to detail in the rooms was remarkable. They were not only spacious, clean, and newly renovated but also equipped with modern amenities like a flat-screen TV and free toiletries. the dressing area was a thoughtful touch that added to the overall convenience and comfort of the space. I particularly appreciated the electric kettle in the room, allowing me to enjoy a hot cup of tea while soaking in the magnificent view over Shimla. the hospitality extended by Mr Ankur, the owner's son, was truly exceptional. His fluent English and willingness to assist with everything from directing me to the homestay to organizing sightseeing tours around Shimla made my stay even more memorable. the fact that the hosts were constantly working to upgrade the rooms for a better guest experience truly stood out to me, reflecting their dedication to providing top-notch service. In conclusion, Dhanlaxmi Homestay is a gem in Shimla, offering not just a comfortable stay but a warm and welcoming environment that makes you feel like part of the family. I am already looking forward to my next visit to this peaceful retreat in the hills and cannot recommend it highly enough to anyone seeking a truly unforgettable stay in Shimla.
